Cake cake cake… We all love cake, right? But sadly cake loves us as well.. It loves us so much that it likes to hang around a bit. Around the hips, etc. So when I asked my daughter what I should make for National Pineapple Cake Day, she asked if I could find a Weight Watchers Recipe.
Being the awesome mom that I am (if I do say so myself and I do.. lol) I searched the web and found one for her. This recipe is dedicated to my baby girl.
The only alteration I made was the original recipe calls for a 20 oz can of crushed pineapples. After making the first one and noticing that all the pineapples sink to the bottom, I thought well if you want to go to the bottom I’ll just make one where it begins on the bottom. So I substituted with a 20 ounce can of sliced pineapples.
Plus doing it that way took me back to the days of when my mom made Upside Down Pineapple Cake.
The only two things you must have are Angel food cake mix that is a one-step cake mix. Just add water will be on the front of the box, and 20 ounce can of pineapples in 100% juice. Oh, and did I mention it’s only 7 Freestyle Smart Points!!
